Back To Work

Last night, Saturday, I went back to work. We were one of the bands who performed during the Winston In Concert Series at Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall.

It was a great way to start the month and I was glad that I was able to reccuperate for that event. I have a lot of reasons to be happy about.

First, we performed with 2 great bands: True Faith and Freestyle. (happy birthday Joshua of Freestyle!)

Second reason for me to be happy about was the overwhelming reception of the crowd. I felt like we were having our first major concert! They loved the songs we sang. I especially got a great response when I sang "Bring Me To Life"...

Third, it was 'cousin' Maui Taylor's birthday and we gave her a surprise party at the back of the stage. I'm glad we made her happy!

Lastly, Harry, my co-host for 3 years, returned from Singapore! The Winston organizers didn't tell me that he was hosting the event so I was pleasantly surprised to see him again. Unfortunately, he's going back to Singapore on July 10.

Over-all, despite the rain, the concert was a success...i'm thankful.
