Last night, my friends and I decided to just spend a few quiet hours catching up, after my show. So instead of accepting the invitation of another friend to go to Embassy, Fabio and I (and some other friends) opted to just chat at Coffee Bean Makati.

Being in the band scene for almost half a decade, I felt a surge of relief last night that I was able to get away from the loud, deafening music and flock of attention-grabbing people that I meet at bars. For the first time in a very long time, I was out on a 'quiet' gimmick. It felt good...
